We believe in giving back to the Marquette area we serve and helping build a better community for all of us.

Swick and our employees are proud, active community members. Below are just a few of the activities we support and take part in.

Swick Walk Against Alzheimer’s

Every summer, we organize our annual Swick Walk Against Alzheimer’s in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association of Marquette. This year was our most successful event to date – with nearly 80 participants (2 and 4-legged). On Saturday, July 31st, 2010, Team Swick walked to Presque Isle and back. The money raised will go toward research to treat and prevent Alzheimer’s, and programs to improve the lives of millions of Americans.

Bay Cliff Health Camp

Bay Cliff, in Big Bay, is a place where children and adults with physical disabilities learn to believe in themselves, strive for fuller lives, and realize their dreams.

Marquette Little League

Better than any other youth sport activity, baseball and softball provide our kids with healthy physical activity, team building skills, and loads of fun! Each year, Swick Home Services is proud to sponsor an area Little League team in the greatest of American traditions.

Blood Drive

The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of Marquette General Health System, holds an annual Blood Mobile blood drive at our facility.

Habitat for Humanity

In addition to providing all the plumbing and heating services for each new house built, Swick also donates many fixtures, materials, units, and other products to this very worthy organization.
